The one with the big day for Sam.

Today was a big day for our little Sam. While we were at lunch with friends I reached over into Sam's mouth and yanked out his first loose tooth. Some of you may know that I can't stand loose teeth, they must come out! I can't tell you how I must have haunted Sam these last few weeks. He used to want to sit be me in sacrament meeting and lately he hadn't and I think its because I couldn't keep my hands out of his mouth. Well he's safe for now....wait I think he just said he's got another wiggley one!!! gotta pull, I mean run!

The one with Emma's happy(sort of) day!

I'm not quite sure how this happened, but my beautiful Emma is 8!!! Her day started out with a pancake cake, she loved it! I took treats to her class(krispie kreams) and then she came home and opened a present because she had been so patient! I had planned on making Emma's favorite dinner and I got it all in the oven and my helpful hubbie proceded to turn the oven off! So when I went to take out the dinner it was all raw! Emma burst into tears. SO onto another present to distract her. Then after dinner I started the hot fudge for sundaes and I burned it! Do you see a pattern here? Thank heavens for Hersheys syrup. Emma finally got to open the rest of her presents and she was thrilled to get Dance Dance Revolution,(disney editon) a Nintendo Ds, and some new clothes. Her aunt Sarah made her American girl doll a dress that looks just like Emma's baptism dress! It is so cute. After everyone had left we were cleaning up and water started pouring out from under my sink, you guessed it, a pipe had come undone. I seriously gave up at that point. I can't help but think "hey, this is the day that I spent laboring for this child, where is my frickin' party? someone throw me a bone!" I settled for a 9:30 bedtime. Next year we're going out.

The one with the Girls Weekend!

What a fun weekend I had!!! You can't beat a long weekend in St. George with great friends! My friend's parents have a home down there so off we were for serious girl talk, retail therapy, yummy food(actually we kind of starved ourselves, so many stores, so little time)It was great to get away and recharge the battery if you know what I mean! Thanks Liza, Meg, Em, baby Ella, and baby Sidney! Love you guys!!!

Happy, happy birthday Grandpa dear. Happy days will come to you all year. If I had one wish then it would be, a happy, happy birthday to you from me!!!(i think i've been in primary too long)

The one with the "classic"fun!!!

So what do you do on a cold winters day? Classic skating Moms Club! Once you get past the initial gag reflex(bare feet, germ fest) it is a fun day! I went with a few friends and stayed all day, for only $7.50! and the $5.00 dollar pizza can't be beat! The best part, I was a hero to my kids, they thought I was the best and sometimes that is a rare thing!

Yesterday we took Emma's baptism pictures. I couldn't help but think the last time I shopped for a beautiful white dress was for her blessing, and I swear that was yesterday. She took my breath away with her beauty, both inside and out. I can't help but think about the next white dress we will shop for together....

So our Christmas card photo opp all stemmed from the above photo. My friend Sandi asked me if I would be willing to have our family photo taken for their marketing of their new subdivision. After tough negotiations(can I use it for my C-mas card?) we said yes, and this is the final product. We are totally famous now and we are signing our cards for those of you who want autographs!!!
