i helped in elizas class this morning.

they were having a spring fling.

i was in charge of the treat.

at 945 am.

we did fruit kabobs and mini muffins.

i mean who wants a cupcake or

sugar cookie at 9 in the morning.

besides me...

to top it all off its conference weekend

and the beginning of spring break.

we have some painting to do and

other basement things so we are forced to stay put.

well that and the fact that we are out of cash

since our last trip! geesh.

my hubby just asked me out for tonight

so it just keeps gett'n better and better for me!

day 8

we decided to take this day slow.

it was like a bonus day on our passes

so we didn't feel the pressure to get to the park early

and stay late.

we slept in, laid out, swam, and just chilled.

then we gussied up and headed out

for one more night in the magic kingdom.

ethan was a little sleepy on the way there.

he still looks so young when he sleeps.

griff loved the "choo choo"

that took us all the way around the park.

that whole week when we would take griffs picture

he would do something with his hands or face.

this time is was both.

josh joined in on the fun.

day 9.

all packed up and heading for home!

it was long enough that we were all

excited to get home and back to real life.

our flight got in late and

we were all tired and a little cramped on the way home

with an extra bag

thanks to elizas stuffed animal

obsession.

the aftermath.

this was the scene after 15 minutes.

bags emptied, stuff sorted, and we crashed.

it really was a dream trip.

once in a lifetime for us.

kids had fun, adults had fun,

i'd call that success.

thanks to my hubs who traveled for 5 years

and saved up all of his points and miles

and provided this trip for us!

ahhh yes, Day 7.

Disneys Hollywood Studios

we went on "the great movie ride"

and when we came around the corner and saw

the wizard of oz

griffin started yelling,

"liza this is yours! this is yours!"

kids got a good memory.

meeting lightening and mater!

i told emma i'd get her to new york someday!

i thought it was so smart to have

kid crafting stations where there might be

a long line for an adult ride.

liza and griff took total advantage.

she is such a good mommy to him

and such a big helper on this trip.

he was so big riding in his own seat

and shooting all by himself.

my heart melted watching him.

but at the end of the night there was a live band

Day 6.

Universals Islands of Adventure/Wizarding World of Harry Potter

oh where to begin.

this day was pure magic.

we had all waited forever to see "Harry".

it is honestly like you stepped into the book, or movie.

every detail.

sam was probably the most in heaven.

although i must admit that ethan was pretty giddy too!

all sam had talked about for weeks

was trying butter beer.

it was well worth the wait.

pure delish!

entering hogwarts.

that ride is unbelieveable.

it took the adults a little while to recover.

of course eliza had to bring home hedwig.

ahh, every family has one stuffed animal lover right?

she's ours.

sams heaven.

butterbeer, elder wand, and hogwarts.

honeydukes candy shop.

the kids all got chocolate frogs.

i got green apple candy that was delish.

i wish i had some right now.

i think collectively we had 9 butterbeers that day.

it is so yummy.

i've had people ask what it tastes like

and my best description is,

rootbeer, sasparilla, carmel, butter, vanilla,

all mixed together in a slush topped off with

a heavy sweet cream that you mix in.

oh man.
