after a bath and a rubdown he

stared at josh, it was the sweetest.

eliza loves to snuggle with him.

she tells me all of the time,

it really is amazing the all encompassing love you

feel so quickly for another baby.

i can't imagine our lives without him now that

he is here.

the other day emma came home and said,

"mom, our house feels different, don't you think?"

i couldn't agree more.

announcing.....

the arrival of the sweetest, yummiest, most loved baby on earth!

after much anticipation,

Griffin Beck Carmack

made his arrival wednesday evening.

he weighed 8lbs.7oz. and is 21 inches long.

it is seriously obsession at first sight.

we can't put him down!

i've decided that he was late because he is the

most chill baby!

the kids wanted to be there when he was born and

missed it by 5 minutes.

when you're ready, you're ready!

wow, when you see it like that its sort of alarming!

josh enjoyed my bed, just relaxing with his boy.

i, on the other hand was going to hurt someone

if i had to be in that bed one more minute!

so it was all his.

Griffin and i hung out in the rocker.

honestly.

he's lucky we don't all eat him for dessert.

check out the faux hawk already.

it was well worth the wait.

sorry for being such a -----these last few weeks

but get real, who goes 10 days late on #5?!

i don't want to swear, there's a new baby in the house!

josh has 2 trips next week.

weekend wrap up.

what a busy fun filled weekend we had.

i was able to attend lots of things

that i thought i wouldn't being

that i didn't have a baby.

first up,

josh played in an alumni 3 on 3

for viewmont. it was a benefit

for a brother of a guy josh played with that

is now battling cancer.

it was fun for all of us to see josh using his mad soccer skills!

you still got it babe!

the boys loved seeing josh play!

next up was our ward harvest party and chili cookoff.

i am on the activities committee and didn't think i'd

be there but i was really glad i was.

only bummer thing, no camera.

i forgot it in all of the hustle of getting things all set up.

we had it in our park. it went awesome.

complete with blue grass band, cotton candy, face painting, games, etc.

last but not least, eliza planned a game for us tonight.

she worked on it literally all day.

she set up chairs, put our names on them, then led us

out for the festivities.

she stared out with a questionnaire.

name, age, ...

she kills us. she does this in her room all of the time,

entertaining herself.

she loved having a live audience!

the gang. even olie got in on the action.

it was a great weekend.

i can't say there weren't tears shed over the lack of a baby,

but press on, right?

i have a non-stress test tomorrow to check the little

nugget out.

on wednesday he was doing great.

i'll keep you posted.
