hey everybody we're back!

i can't say that san antonio was awesome

but we certainly had fun.

on our down time i pushed josh around the mall

in a wheel chair so i certainly got my "workouts" in.

san antonio really is an awesome city

and i'd love to go back when josh

is back to his fighting form.

it just stressed me out to drive around 

in an unfamiliar place(not my strong point).

 but i am looking forward to this.....

in a mere 30 days!

cast or no cast we are sooooo going!

because i am pretty much over this.....

i really am a nice, understanding person

but come on....i can only handle so much!

(ps. i defused my hair today, is that too totally early 90's?)

do you wonder where i am when i don't do a post?

well today i have an answer.

i am in san antonio texas chauffeuring my hubby

around while on business.

now you may think FUN! and don't get me wrong

the break of winter dulldrums is nice.

BUT we were ushered into the lone star state with a

WINTER STORM WARNING.

no laying out for me.

winter to them is a little different than in utah,

freezing rain? i laugh at freezing rain!

today it is 59 and sunny.

where is that storm i cried about last night?

any who, i just wanted to say hi in case

you were wondering about me.

sort of self centered, i know.

i'll be home tomorrow.

The one with the recap.....

of the last 36 hours.

partying hard with  emma at surprise party ,

receive phone call that husband is injured at church bball game.

spend 3 hours in emergency room.

fractured ankle.

try to keep husband comfortable while maintaining normalcy

for daughters much anticipated 9th birthday the following day.

wait on husband hand and foot while muttering under my breath

about (damn) church bball.

all smiles here.

i'd post the picture of it but you'd puke.

the one with the bday make over!

this beautiful daughter of mine

is turing 9 tomorrow.

she is everything i could ever want a daughter to be.

she is a sweet sister, my biggest helper,

and the girl appreciates a good set-up.

sometimes she is sassy, 

but weren't we all at that age?

and she has awesome style.

sometimes before i go out with josh

i have her approve my outfit.

i thought it would be fun to do a pre birthday make over

and give her a some bday clothes a day early.

i'm a big sucker for her.

and the best part is her friend

is throwing her a big surprise party tonight

and she has no idea!!!

The one with a letter....

Dear Oscar Nominating Committee,

I'd like to first say congratulations

for nominating practically all

rated R's again this year.

I used to be a big fan of this awards show.

I am a big fan of pop culture so of course

I

watched.

The gowns, the red carpet, the screaming fans,

me secretly wishing I had flown to CA.

and stood out all day just for a chance to have

Brad and Angelina wave at me,

(asking me to bring my family and be their live-in nanny)

WHAT? sorry.

While we're talking about Brad...well done.

He deserved that nom. and it was well earned.

You got that one right at least.

And hello EYE CANDY for the show(not that i'll be watching).

Thank you for your time. I must run now. I do have  a life.

Although right now you may think I don't.

Next year could you maybe look at 

some movies everybody has seen.

There are a lot of good pg 13's out there,

just give them a chance.

a blog and you read it, and you enjoy it

but in the back of your mind you are thinking....

I admit, I do.

Now we all have a little of that in us

I try really hard not to brag, 

unless its about how cute my kids are

because get real, how could I not?

the possibilities on these are endless.

The one where Josh comes in and saves the day!

let me set the scene:

me, sitting at the computer when josh leaves for the gym.

me, sitting at the computer when josh comes home from the gym.

( i did change the wash once, and talk to a friend on the phone)

josh: "you are in the same position as when i left!"

me: " i know, i'm lame. i can't seem to get anything done today."

Josh: "well thats why there are 7 days and not just 1."

oh that man of mine, he always knows just what to say!

and he brought me a diet coke.

seriously, he might be perfect.

but don't tell him that,

humility is not his strong point.

The one with cookie exchange day!

today eliza has a

 cookie exchange at school.

last night i told her we needed to make 

cookies for her class,

she was so excited!

so this morning when she woke up

the first words out of her mouth were,

"make cookies..."

and make them we did!

nothing wrong with cookie dough

for breakfast right?

The one where is it just me or.....

is this time of day

simply....

well....

i know, i know,

i hate them too.

but sometimes they work.
