invited us over for brunch in between conf. sessions.

ethan finally turned 16

and was able to go to a dance!

at last!

he took his best friend Ally.

they had a great time.

grandpa carmack was nice enough to let him take to camero!

they started off their date up at snowbasin

riding the gondola up and hiking and having lunch,

then they got ready,

and came to our house for dinner.

i wanted it to be outside but it rained all day.

i still think it turned out pretty,

i set up this fun "photo booth"

with props and stuff.

 i think the pics turned out good.

such a fun first date!

cleaning out at grandma greats.

wow.

cleaning out at my grandmas is such  daunting task.

we have been finding some treasures.

like my wedding dress.

awesome.

i love her house.

it has been so hard for me to see things go

and get packed up.

my grandma loved her house

 and all of her treasures.

she would often say to me,

"what is going to happen to all of my things

when i'm gone?"

thats a real good question grandma!

one major problem?

SHE KEPT EVERYTHING!!!!

i keep asking myself...

my grandparents headstone was set the other day.

it is so nice to have somewhere to go besides their house

to feel close to them.

i miss them everyday.

it surprises me still, that ache i have in my heart for them.

i am so happy that they are together,

but what i wouldn't give for one more day.

griff goes to the dentist.

griff was seriously the breavest boy

at the dentist.

we knew he had a bad front tooth

so it was time to take him in.

one of our best friends is our dentist

so that but griff right at ease.

all better!

i filling down, 4 to go.

from the soccer field to the stage....

this little eliza of mine is quite talented.

she loves to play soccer and she loves ballet.

and here she is on the morning of nutcracker tryouts

with her pal aspen.

what a relief when they both made it!

pre school for griff!

griff started his 2nd year of pre school

at miss heidi's.

he loves it, and is thrilled to go with his buddies!

"we got this!"

here's to a great year!

labor day...

 at cherry hill!

we had a great summer at cherry hill.

we got passes again after a couple years break.

we love it there,

and this time we dragged the family along!

while the cats are away.....

 the mice will play! 

 we have this little "adventure group"

with griffs buddies. they are all boys,

and all the youngest in their families

so it just works!

this day, our friend liza took us

out on their boat.

it was such a fun day.

the little boys were in heaven!
