i had so much fun thinking about the kids clothes this year.

why does this bring me so much joy? and stress!

i wanted a vintage look this year.

i ended up making the skirts(thanks mom)

and the girls hair poofs.

and then ordering the boys ties.

and thanks to grandma arlea everyone

got new shirts and pants!

it was a happy easter indeed.

(at least fashion wise)

griffin is 18 months old today.

what difference a year makes.

april 21, 2010.

so..... excuse the long post,

but this sort of feels like a milestone day.

18 months feel like baby to big boy over night.

he is suddenly so grown up.

he is talking up a storm and making us all laugh every minute.

18 months means nursery.

no little church buddy anymore. boo.

i even bought him a bow tie for the occasion.

i wanted to do a shoot to mark this occasion.

i had been thinking of outfits, location...

and then i thought i want to do it where he is happiest,

in his room, playing with his things.

he didn't disappoint.

i love you griff.

this happened way too fast!

so the post below has a video of him,

and i have to explain part of it.

when i show him the king and queen he acts all sad

because of the king and queen onTangled.

he always gets so sad when it shows them sending the lantern.

oh spring break we love you so.....

we had a great spring break,

so great that we extended for 2 more days!

we had a blast with our dear friends the shupe family!

which leads me to picture cred, it all goes to susie shupe.

thanks sus for being my personal photographer!

we had a great 8 days

playing at the park, swimming, eating,

and just hanging out.

my kids were never in bed before 11:30.

bad mom, i know.

griffin was happiest warming up in the shower!

we're so happy our dad could fly in for a couple of days!
