she has grown up so fast these last

she is the joy in our family.

o christmas tree....

last night the hunt was on

for the christmas tree.

it was hard to resist a game of

christmas tree hide and go seek.

griff thought the whole thing

was quite hilarious.

and then we spotted her.

yes, she's missing some some branches in the back.

but perfect for our corner!

and then we celebrated with a group picture.

it felt right.

because i am extremely picky

and we found this baby in

about 10 minutes!

(ethan was at young mens. boo.)

of course we had to get a cup of

whipping cream.

i mean hot chocolate.

yum.

cheers to the perfect tree!

ummm....there may have been

some scones involved.

ahhh...all lit up and so pretty.

eliza hung in with me

and helped decorate.

when we got home griff ran in and yelled at the

top of his lungs,

"esaaan, we got da cwismiss twee!!!"

the elf came yesterday.

he's going to spy until christmas day.

he brought jammies.

the kids were so excited.

we celebrated sams birthday

he requested my chocolate cake.

that its awesome to have a teenage son.

he put up the lights this year.

and i'm happy to report he showed slight

signs of O.C.D. while accomplishing this task.

making sure each light was nice and straight.

it was a proud moment for me.

josh was beyond thrilled.

the kids are home today due to damage done

to schools and buses in high winds yesterday.

sweet.

i had stuff to do today.
