The one where we throw down in the WalMart Parking lot!

So Walmart in Centerville called the VHS Cheerleaders and asked if we would like to have a cheer off in the parking lot against the Davis cheerleaders, since we play them this friday! And the prize? $1000.00 big ones! So of course we said yes! It was all very friendly and we all got the prize money. My girls ate it up and that's all that matters! GOOOOO Walmart! I mean VIKES!!!

The one where Eliza looks sooooo cute!!!!!!

Eliza just looked too cute so of course we had to post her pics. She is headed off to pre-school at Buzy Bee's. I decided that I like orange mixed with lots of different colors. Happy Fall everyone!

The one where it is Soccer Saturday!

Like many of you we spend the majority of our day at the pitch (soccer field). To be honest with you, Josh and I look forward to it almost as much as the boys. Last Saturday night, after Sam had scored 7 goals in his game, he said to me "How many more days until my next soccer game?" And so the countdown began...... Ethan and Sam play soccer nearly everyday with the neighborhood kids and it has really helped them to develop their skills. Ethan had 2 goals today and Sam had 4. It may seem like we are bragging, because we are and we dont want to have to work our whole lives..Can you say gravy train? All aboard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The one where my kids are having a blast!

We love our new neighborhood! It has so many great people and with that, so many kids running around looking for someone to play with and my kids are always willing! I often see this scene in my living room, Eliza and her BFF Jensyn coloring or playing school. It makes me happy. Another scene I stumbled upon was Sam and his new friend Carmeron applying tat's in the bathroom, Sam now sports three. I told Cameron he better call his mom and ask if it was ok and he told me ,"she said ok as long as it's not permanent!" She must have found out about the tatoo parlor i'm running out of my basement!! I probably should get to know her a little better!

The one where we have a fairy!!

So Emma loves fairies and the idea of fairies, I think thats what brought the fairy to our house! The other day I was in Emma's room and I noticed a trail of glitter(everyone knows fairies leave a trail of glitter so you know they were there). I told Emma about it and we watched for further glitter sightings! Sure enough a few days later there was another trail. We decided to build a garden for her so she would take up permanent residence, Emma even built her a little house! It is so much fun! We'll keep you posted!

The one where we lick the bowl!

Eliza had a horrible flare up of her eczema last night so I stayed home from church with her. We decided to make brownies for everyone when they got home. We licked the bowl so much that the brownies are a little thin. Is it still licking the bowl if it's still full of batter?

The one where it's Grandparents Day!

In honor of grandparents day which is officially today I wanted to share my grandparents with you. They are Franklin and Edna May Walton. They are two of the most important people in my life and I love them dearly, many of you know this but they are 91 and 89 and pretty much fend for themselves, they are amazing! Ialso have a grandma that is 95 that i have the honor of taking care of once a week, she's a firecracker! So lets lift a glass(of diet coke of course) to all of the grandparents in our lives may they live forever!

The one where she goes above and beyond!

Sam's primary teacher is out of control! This is how she delivered his CTR ring to him, a littte bag of taffy, all the colors matched the ribbon, an article's of faith card, and then tied up with the ring! It was one of those things that made my heart smile. Well done Sis. Smith, well done.

The one where Emma's cousin comes for a sleepover!

These two little girls are the cutest together. Madison is 10 and Emma 7 but they paly so well together. The other kids were gone to Gramies so we decided to have a girls night out. We went to dinner at the mall and walked around then to the craft store to get beads to make bracelets! it was a fun night for all of us!

The one where Eliza does "My kind of Music"

Eliza is 3 and starting pre school this week, i'll post that later if my brain doesn't explode, anyways, I put her in a music class and she loved it!! She goes with her pal Aspen, they were pretty shy at first but got into the "groove' of it pretty quickly. She brings us joy everyday, and today it was the brown and white dress with the pink and white bows that brought the most joy. I know I'm a sick woman but sometimes it's the little things in life ........

The one with the first day of school.

Well the day was finally upon us, the kids went back to school. I have so many mixed emotions on this day. I miss them being around but I know they are loving it! Ethan is in 5th, which I swear I was just in 5th grade! Emma is in 2nd and so grown up and our little Sam is a big Kindergartener! I can't believe it, where did the time go? ( the song "memories" is playing softly in the background.)

The one where the girls live out a dream!

Yes, I did it, I turned my girls into Viewmont mini cheerleaders!! I can't help it! For those of you who don't know I am coaching at Viewmont and my girls are loving it, and I must admit, so am I. This picture expresses their personalities perfectly!! I love my girls. GO VIKES!!!

The one with the High School Musical Party!!

I'm not sure who was more excited for the premier of HSM 2 me or the kids?! We had a fun premier party with our friends. The kids all loved it, and the adults did to. Can anyone say "conga line?!"

The one about the big move!

So after ten great years in Kaysville we made the move west to Layton, and we love it. We live in a neighborhood that is running rampant with children and our kids couldn't be happier. We found this cute house that is 6 years old and have tried to put our own stamp on it. Needless to say, lots of hours of painting, trips to Home Depot, slave labor, and a loving and patient husband, it has become our own.
