The one with a sabotage of love.....

So I have to admit it out loud and to the world......I LOVE MY WIFE!!! I choose this forum to announce it because I recognize that there are a great many of you that tune into this blog to see what the latest and greatest is in our lives. To be honest, I secretly check out the blog as well to see what creative and fun things my wife has done. She is brilliant! She has a vision and she executes to perfection. The morphing of her craft room to Sam's bedroom is one of those visions. I used to question the vision...now I embrace it. She is the cheese to my macaroni, and everything that is good in our lives and our family, is because of her. She is willing to help anyone at anytime, regardless of the chaos in her life. But she would not have it any other way.

I love you em.......now the world knows...or at least 57 people know..

The one where.....

easy come.....

easy go.....

after 7 years together my boys decided it

was time to split up.

they were needing their own space,

so being the good mother that i am 

i gave up my crafting room.

sam loves his new room.

that black wall is magnetized chalkboard

so he can hang up his art and also create it on the wall.

it still needs a little touch up 

but all in all i think it turned out pretty good.

the only bad thing is it has put me in the re-do mode.

i love it, josh hates it.(re-doing, that is)

the one where i have been complaining.....

and its got to stop!

i mean i don't spend my day complaining or anything.

sometimes its just the little things that get you!

but i have perspective now,

nie nie is back and it brings it all home for me.

no skin grafts here,

i can bake a cake if i want to, 

i can go to target and not have people stare at me

(well not for obvious reasons anyways)

sometimes you have to stop and take inventory of your blessings.

because they are many.

someone is always suffering,

and that makes me stop and reflect, and count.

i made it through early out week!

i love my kids and all,

lunch with a friend,

playdate with friends,

viewmont game(gotta support my cheer girls!),

date with my gimpy hubby,

and birthday dinner for my mama.

all in the next 3 days!

so i'm pretty much the winner today.

i won the "coolest mom ever" award.

oh, you haven't heard of that award?

nope, sorry its me,

because i let my son skip school to go skiing with the crew.

i know, i know, some might say irresponsible! neglectful even!

some ones been crafting again!

it all started with my door,

it just looked plain un-loved.

and who wants an unloved door during this season of love?

not me!

so i whipped up this wool heart.

i just love how the red and white look against the black.

next i needed a little valentines finery in my kitchen

but didn't want to spend any money.

so what always comes in handy?

scrapbook paper!

you know you buy cute paper when you have

no intention of ever using it.

well the other day i actually put it to use. 

i wanted something fun and wHiMsIcAl!

nailed it.

and certainly last but not least

crowns for 2 adored girls in my life.

we made these together on a sunday afternoon.

i had been promising them these forever

and i finally made good.
