another day filled with parties?

it must be halloween.

how long must the madness go on?

our costume this year for a 

friends party.....

tic tac anyone?

gotta love bleeker, he was good in chair.

but first a day at school with sam...

rat race.

mummy wrap.

and lastly i taught them thriller.

it was awesome.

The one with Sam's program.

tonight was sammy's halloween program.

it was a hit!

he memorized his speaking parts and 

did a great job.

he couldn't decide what to be this year

and with 10 minutes to go we settled on.....

indiana jones!

i hope you are all having as much 

fun this halloween season as i am.

(said with absolutely NO sarcasm...none at all)

The one with the baby and the bumble bee!

on friday night emma and i had an

achievement days dinner. 

we had such a fun time together.

emma couldn't decide what to be this year

and i had put a $5.oo restriction

on costumes so in the end we

went to the dollar store and got a bottle

and a binky and she was thrilled to be a baby!

she played the part perfectly.

i on the other hand do not enjoy the whole

costume thing and rummaged around

in my closet until the idea of a bee came to me

and i had bought those socks on clearance last year

so i was good to go!

sting'n my date!

all night long i kept glancing at emma 

and sometimes i can't believe she's mine.

beautiful.

i love you emma.

The one with Ethan and Eliza's big shows!

The whole sixth grade had been 

studying egyptian mythology and they

were also assigned an eqyptian god or goddess.

Ethan was assigned Thoth. 

Ever heard of him? me neither.

anywho...they all dressed up like their character and

put on a wax museum in the lunch room.

The classes would come by and push their button

and they would tell them all about their person.

Cool eh? and not bad for a mom that

can't sew to save her life!

(small pat on the back for me thanks!)

And then our little Eliza had her halloween program

for pre school.

They recited poems and sang songs.

It was so cute and she loved every minute of it.

She and her buddy Aspen were little black cats!

It was a fun night but I am just about costumed out

and its not even halloween yet.

The worst part is Ethan doesn't

want to be Thoth for halloween. I can't really blame him

but COME ON another costume?

crap....i don't remember signing up for this.

just a perk i guess.

The one with the new pj's.

my dearest, darlingest auntie sarah,

i could hardly believe my eyes when i came to your house today

and you presented me with new jammies.

not only do they fit perfectly, they fulfill my mom's sick need

to dress me in anything with owls, polka dots, and ric rac.

you are an absolute dream. 

please feel free to make me jammies any time!

in fact i have a great idea....

maybe you could teach my lame sewing mommy 

and she could make some for

me and my siblings. just a thought.

The one with Sam.

ok this kid of mine is funny.

everyday is something different with him...

today was no different.

it goes a little something like this.....

i was on the living room floor picking up some random objects

and my cell phone buzzed telling me i had a text,

so i just knelt there instead of getting up(picture prayer position)

anywho sam swoops in next to me and says,

"welcome to my world, do you enjoy being my size?"

i was laughing so hard i couldn't breathe, let alone text.

how does he come up with this stuff?

he also requested that we see Wicked again

because it changed his life....

i'm just say'n, the kids a classic.

The one with UEA.aka.utahns escaping to anaheim.

What to do on UEA.

1. get up early and work kids to death in yard.  

2. shower now filthy kids.

3. head to mall to reward kids with fav. lunch.(chickfilA)

4. all a dollar. enough said.

5. hit early bird special of Beverly Hills Chiwauwau.(i can't spell it)

6. go to Grand Opening of DI.(we've been counting down...apparently)

7. and of course WalMart.

sound fun? it was. except for WalMart, its always lame...and dirty.

The one where she's all mine!

Sometimes i look at this

sweet, crazy, loud,

dancing, twirling,whirling

little girl and i can't believe she's mine.

am i lucky or what!

The one where we all have a dream.

i asked eliza what she wanted for lunch today,

 and like every other day the answer was,

"mac and cheese!!"

i knew the answer already, i was just hoping for a change

and lets be honest, i get sick of boiling water

for 8 minutes everyday.

so after making it i said,

"come and eat mac and cheese head"

to which she replied,

" mom, don't you know mac and cheese is my dream?"

I started laughing and then i thought

as i looked at my lame salad(it actually was quite good)

I know exactly how she feels.

i really wanted fries.

they are my dream.

The one where i'm feeling much better thankyou.

I took some pictures yesterday.

It made me feel better.

It also made me realize why I do this "picture" thing.

Because when i bring a mom here to proof,

and she squeal's with delight

it make me happy.

Not because i have done a good job, 

but because she see's her children in a different light.

And lets face it we all squeal when that happens.

The one with the foggy fog.

Have you ever had a day where

you feel like you are in a fog?

(or a foggy fog as Dora says)

Well that has been me for the

past 2 days.

Hair in bun.

No makeup.

No creativity in the clothing department.

House cluttery.

Pictures unedited.

Today has got to be better.

Maybe i'll start with a shower?

That always helps.

Why so foggy with this being my favorite time of year?

I don't know,

i'm going to pull myself up by the bootstraps, 

i'm going to listen to my Hillary Weeks CD

(don't mock, she has a beautiful voice and i have always

been a sucker for cheesy LDS music)

and try to have a better day.

I think it might be my attitude.

it's in the air, can you feel it!

fall, my favorite time of the year!

in honor of fall i made homemade

chicken noodle soup yesterday.

it just felt right.

i'm thinking of pumpkin squares tomorrow.

anyone want some.
