can anyone explain this phenomenon to me?
there is really no where to hide socks in this house.
those who know me, know my o.c.d. laundry habits.
one remaining sock in each pile.
it makes me bonkers.
but on another note,
this little booger is getting his bottom teeth.
and though it doesn't appear so in these pictures....
he's sort of, well, pure onery.

"who me?"
we'll still keep him!
happy monday!

ps. ethan has photo credit for the saucer pics.
he made me say that.
happily.

lets play catch up, shall we?

the other morning i was laying in bed,
telling myself to "get up!"
i was dreading for a moment the monotony of the day.
and then i thought, no two days are EVER the same.
its run here and there,
laundry, scrubbing the house, yard work(spring clean up:(
grocery shopping, exercising, lunch with a friend,
lunch with my mom, soccer, dance, playgroup, visiting teaching,
running to the junior high to hear an election speech(vote is next tues)
all the while nursing, changing poopy diapers, snuggling(a must)
you get the picture? i'm sure your days are similar.
no monotony here.
sometimes i guess i'm just tired.

but on another note,
dancing with the stars is gonna be go-o-od this season.
and tomorrow night i'm having a girls night out with my girlies.
hires for dinner then the UofU gymnastics meet.
should be really fun.

peace out suckas, the office is on.

Emma @ 10.

emma's 10 year old shoot.
it had to fit her fun, funky personality.
nailed it.
her beauty mystifies me.
i am lucky to be her mom.

BIG G, little g, what begins with g?

i've been need'n a little somethin'' somethin' above Griffs bed.
i found this G and fell in love.
i had to paint it, easy.
i love it so.
i want one in every room!
different letters of course!
that might be overkill though.
its like the big metal stars!
i love them, but had to only limit myself to 2 in my house.
again, overkill.
"hey griff, do you like your G?"

sweet, me too!

we've been super busy.

eliza and sam spent the better half of yesterday
afternoon building a leprechaun trap.
they were just sure they'd make a catch.
its refreshing when a common goal can bring
your kids together.

and i just had to throw this in.
griff loves to snuggle ethan while he reads.
its so sweet.
now when you say his name he looks at you like, "what?"
life around here is pretty dang good.

caps for sale! caps for sale! .50 cents a cap!

well thats not true at all.
more like $10.00 a cap, but still a steal if you ask me!
my sis sarah makes these darling baby caps out of recycled knit.
they are the bomb.
every time i take griff out in one i get stopped, yes they are that cute!
they keep their head and ears really warm too.
and as an added bonus they can't pull it off!
oh i just can't say enough about these darling caps!
she's even put a little flower on the girls caps. yum.
i loooove this one!
and the person with the hairy arm hold'n it!

look how cute and happy griff is in his!
i could just eat those cheeks in that cap!
if you are interested leave a comment
or better yet email my sis at sbwootton@hotmail.com
come on, you know you want one.

ps. you don't have to pick from these.
she can make you whatever you want.
or pretty darn close.

its good to be me.

my darling friend heather dropped this by this morning.
(i would link to her blog but its private.)
she knows my love for the "sweet" things in life.
i'm just glad i had gone on a nice long walk this morning
so i could eat it!
who am i kidding?
i would have eaten it anyways!

thanks heather, you're a dream.
and your cupcake too.
(and yes sarah, those are pb cups indeed)

ps. i'm going to share.
geesh.
pss. i am officially 4 lbs lighter than when i got preggers with griffy
so get off my back.
oh nevermind, that was me on my back.
i sure wish that little voice in my head that doesn't like me eating sweets
goes away soon. she's really bumm'n me out.

every year or so i get a cold sore.

and i am a great big baby about it.
oh you can't really see it.
lets get a closer look.

there, now you see it?
it totally sucks.
i can't even smother my baby in kisses.
do you know how hard that is?
he's just sittin there all fat and happy,
smell'n like baby magic and i can't even feast.
oh ya ya, and i can't kiss josh either.
i have to put this white gunk on it that makes people look
at me like i have frosting in the corner of my mouth.
they'd be wrong though, cause the frosting at my house is pink.
i know that because i ate one....two cupcakes today.
cherry chip, with cherry /almond buttercream frosting.
i have a small problem with sweets right now.
thats another post for another day.

well thats all. just me and my cold sore.
and my pasty white skin.

ohhhhhhh Griff.

we have had quite the week with our little one.
when you make the decision to have a baby
you can anticipate many things,
teething, tantrums, etc.
the sickness, not so much.
Griffin really has been an angel, he just wants to be held. held. and more held.
we have been getting lots of snuggle time.
we have now moved on to an ear infection,
which usually wraps up the rsv.
me tired.
i keep telling griff i'm too old for this but he doesn't seem to get the message.
any who....
Griffin has been watching us eat.
tonight we decided to try carrots.
they have completely changed the way you introduce foods now.
bye bye rice cereal. hello veggies.
(yep, i'm that lady with goobers on her shoulder)
"seriously?"
"where's the salt and butter?"
"any one? any one?"
sweetest baby.
ps. ignore the bruise above his left eye.
he maybe slid out of his stroller at Ikea
and bonked his head on the cement floor.

i said maybe.

trust me. i felt like crap.
tears were shed. and not just his.
don't judge me.
i'm new at this.

i need your help.....

again!
ethan(the eldest)
is running for 8th grade office.
we need a slogan.
my ideas apparently...suck.
help us out.
pretty pleeeeaaaase.
and if you have a 7th grader at Fairfield....
on march 23rd pick Ethan Carmack,
instead of your nose.
hey, i thought it was good.
