happy winter everyone!

i  can  really only say this because

it a balmy 42 degrees here.

the sky is blue,

ok, with a slight inversion,

but who's complaining?

not me.

i can do winter if it stays like this.

did i just jinx it?

The one where my mama always said it wasn't nice to brag.

ok, do you ever stumble across 

a blog and you read it, and you enjoy it

but in the back of your mind you are thinking....

BRAGGER!

I admit, I do.

Now we all have a little of that in us

or else we wouldn't blog, am I right?

I try really hard not to brag, 

unless its about how cute my kids are

because get real, how could I not?

Anyways my point is 

I am about to Seriously brag about myself.

I thought i'd share some of my creations

that my craft room has inspired.....

behold the crafting.....

eat your heart out pottery barn kids,

i'm not paying $30 bucks for your damn owls,

i'll make them instead!

new bedding for the american girl dolls.

cute new frame for cute picture of beautiful daughter.

appliqued shirt with eliza's initial(in case she forgets)

the possibilities on these are endless.

ok, brag fest is all done..

The one where Josh comes in and saves the day!

let me set the scene:

me, sitting at the computer when josh leaves for the gym.

me, sitting at the computer when josh comes home from the gym.

( i did change the wash once, and talk to a friend on the phone)

josh: "you are in the same position as when i left!"

me: " i know, i'm lame. i can't seem to get anything done today."

Josh: "well thats why there are 7 days and not just 1."

oh that man of mine, he always knows just what to say!

and he brought me a diet coke.

seriously, he might be perfect.

but don't tell him that,

humility is not his strong point.

The one with cookie exchange day!

today eliza has a

 cookie exchange at school.

last night i told her we needed to make 

cookies for her class,

she was so excited!

so this morning when she woke up

the first words out of her mouth were,

"make cookies..."

and make them we did!

nothing wrong with cookie dough

for breakfast right?

The one where is it just me or.....

is this time of day

simply....

well....

wonderful!

The one with the new years resolution....

i know, i know,

i hate them too.

but sometimes they work.
