i have never wanted to live in a teepee.....

until today.

heaven help me.

i have always loved the ralph lauren home collection.

in fact, my bedding comes from RL.

this takes it to a whole new level.

i really died over the childrens teepee.

every detail was to die for!

i wish i had a picture of it!

i love the bedding in the picture below.

i really must hang a flag in my house somewhere.

backwards of course.

i am always conflicted between clean and uncluttered

decorating and, well, ralph lauren style.

that's it, i'm moving my family to a tee pee.

someone call ralph.

stat.

so our friends are moving.

boo.

but she has inspired me with all the "cleaning out."

so this week i am pretending we are moving.

no announcement, i'm pretending.

i am certainly not a hoarder.

and i like to think my house is clean and tidy,

but boy oh boy the crap one can accumulate in 4 years.

so i have done 5 closets so far...and it feels good.

josh took 7 bags of kids clothes to a consignment store today

so i'm hoping to cash in.

last time they gave me $250 smackaroos!

i have a couple more closets to do and then i'm moving on to drawers.

this may not seem like a big deal to many of you,

but for me a MAJOR purge takes some MAJOR effort!

sam:"hey mom! so jack and i were talkin on the way home,

we were worried that our 3rd grade crushes might grow up to be nerds.

me: "well thats not very nice."

sam: "ya, but mom it could totally happen because i

was looking at your school pictures and in kindergarten

you were sooo nerdy but by 6th grade you were lookin'

pretty good."

ouch.

but ouch.

i had such a great mothers day.

my kids and hubby spoiled me.

i love all of the school made gifts,

they are the best!

but a cute new apron and adele cd ain't so bad either!

the whole fam came up and we enjoyed

homemade cafe rio.

yum.

so... st. george was awesome.

we laughed, we cried(only from laughing so hard)

and seriously had the best time!

i love having good girlfriends in my life.

they really are the best!

we ate, exercised.once, layed out, ate, shopped, ate...

do you see a pattern?

we stayed up way too late, slept in a little....

and just basically had a blast.

what more can i say.

i love my bookclub gals,

and i can't wait until next year.

seriously.

oh, and ps. we went to see {water for elephants} and loved it.

reese was a doll and robert redeemed himself after all of that vampire crap!
