coming to the end of a really great year.

i wanted ethan to remember what a great year he had.

being an officer brought ethan so much confidence.

he had the best year.

it was such a great way for him to get involved.

we were sad for a minute that he didn't win

again for his 9th grade year,

but now we can beef up his classes and knock out

some high school credits.

we were so proud of the job he did

while maintaining... BRAG ALERT... high honor roll.

he was lucky to serve with these 2 gals.

we really got to know and love ally

because of carpool.

i would like to secure her as my daughter in law right now.

we are done for the season for

3 of the 4 kids.

so i went and saw this movie last night with some friends.

and people, i'm conflicted.

on one hand i'm laughing my buns off,

and on the other i'm laughing my buns off about people cheating

on their signifigant other.

i've always been a fan of kate hudson,

john krasinski stole the show like usual,

ginnifer goodwin is good and akward,

and the new guy is ha-ot.

so overall a pretty good show.

i was entertained,

but still....conflicted.

i have always loved the ralph lauren home collection.

in fact, my bedding comes from RL.

this takes it to a whole new level.

i really died over the childrens teepee.

every detail was to die for!

i really must hang a flag in my house somewhere.

i am always conflicted between clean and uncluttered

decorating and, well, ralph lauren style.

that's it, i'm moving my family to a tee pee.

so our friends are moving.

but she has inspired me with all the "cleaning out."

so this week i am pretending we are moving.

no announcement, i'm pretending.

i am certainly not a hoarder.

and i like to think my house is clean and tidy,

but boy oh boy the crap one can accumulate in 4 years.

so i have done 5 closets so far...and it feels good.

josh took 7 bags of kids clothes to a consignment store today

so i'm hoping to cash in.

last time they gave me $250 smackaroos!

i have a couple more closets to do and then i'm moving on to drawers.

this may not seem like a big deal to many of you,

but for me a MAJOR purge takes some MAJOR effort!
