ohhh lake tahoe....

 so this past week josh and i 

were able to take the kids for a week

to visit our friends the ratchfords.

we had a great time.

 we were able to go to davy's resort and

see all of the beautiful sights.

it really is unbelieveable.

 the kids spent countless hours

on their tramp.

ours died and it is evident

how much they miss it.

 we were able to have a "date night"

and we took cheesey photos along the trukee river.

it was so good to be with our friends again.

 awesome BMX park that

griff and sam died over.

 we also enjoyed our down time playing games

and catching caterpillars.

 one evening we went fora  hike and did some

bouldering up by donner lake.

it was one of the highlights.

 poor sam got stung by a bee.

we decided he looked like an avatar.

 our favorite thing was

probably our day at the lake.

the kids couldn't get enough.

 they swam over to some rocks

and caught small fish and crawdads.

they loved it.

 our across the street neighbors and friends

the baclayons were there that day

and eliza was thrilled to see her buddy braelyn.

they didn't leave each others side.

all in all a great trip.

putting up with us!
