well, hello there.

a few items.

1. why is this blog sitting on the back burner? i don't know either. cause i love it. i really do. and it makes me feel less guilty about not scrapbooking. does anyone read this thing anymore?

2. we are plugging along here. our days are busy, ordinary, extarordinary, busy, and good. when i get down, i count my blessings because there are many.

3. griff is 3 on sunday. can you believe it? me neither. he is hilarious. the other day emma said something in a weird voice before getting out of the car and just like that griffin says, "that is a funny girl, my sister, emma. i love her mom!" i love it. he is pure joy.(when hes not a moody stink. i blame the red hair.)

4. i am spending lots of time with my grandma. i wish it was more. she is 94 and heaven is near. in fact so near that the other day she was sort of creep'n me out. she kept asking me if i could hear those people talking...and grandpa...she wants to go be with him. she is ready. it will be hard, but so good for her.

5. date night fills my soul. it literally makes me so happy. whether its solo or with friends i love being out and having a good meal(not cooked or cleaned up by me) and being with my hubs. he makes me happy.

6. i love fall. slow down please because you make me happy too!

7. i really like tv. i don't ever turn it on until kids are in bed but when i do, watch out. i like it. there i said it. one word. parenthood.sue me.

8. even though figuring out "picture clothes" makes me crabby , i think what i pulled together is going to be a hit. in my book anyway. i can't wait to actually take them. thats the not so fun part.

9. i love to cook new and yummy things. mostly sweets. its a problem.

10. last but not least. mitt for pres. it makes my stomach hurt just thinking about it. this election feel so hyped to me. i hate how wrong the press is about him. he is a good man.
