its starting to look spooky around here.

why do i love to decorate for a holiday

that i think is pretty much lame?

i don't know either,

but i love it!

me from my great aunts house.

#1. our baby guessing game.

#2. when josh is out of town

we usually eat at the counter,

and i stand at the counter.

well the other night i had dinner

almost done and i wasn't feeling too hot

so i went to lay down.

when i came back in sam and eliza had done this

whole "set up". they had a place set for everyone

and a place at the bread board for me. they took

the cushions off of my rocker so i could have a comfy seat.

i love those kids of mine!!!

#3. last but certainly not least....i have a fun new hobby.

you might say i'm obsessed.

they are a fun outlet for all of this crazy energy i have.

i saw these on a blog and thought about ordering one

until i saw they were $40.

this is libbys.

this is emmas.

and this cute little witch was

painted by none other than my hubby.

he wanted in on the action.

it was the most "feminine" thing

i've seen him do in 14 years of marriage.

not bad eh?

guilt.

oh, i'm sorry, is this not what you do

when you have a lunch playdate before school?

ya, me neither.

except when i am having some major guilt

that i am giving birth to her baby brother in 3 weeks

and even though she's out of her mind excited....

it gonna' rock her world.

the other day i was having a phone conversation with a friend.

i was telling her that sometimes i go into the nursery

at night and sit in the rocking chair and rock.... a onesie.

just to get through these last few weeks.

don't judge me.

anywho.....

ethan apparently heard that and asked me if it was true.

he was mortified.

he obviously couldn't handle the fact that his

mom was losing it. rocking empty baby clothes.

so i said,

"oh i was just kidding, i would never do that, i was just being funny."

just like i would NEVER rock out to miley cyrus without kids

in the car. how embarrassing.

...and a jay z song was on....i put my hands up they're playing my

song, the butterflies fly away, nodding my head like ya, movin'

my hips like ya.....

here's what my positive attitude did for me today.

-car vacuumed out

-3 sparkling clean bathrooms, you could seriously eat out of my tubs

-house picked up

-all laundry done. washed, folded, ready for kids to put away!

-that dingy grey sink, pearly white!

all by noon!

(ok, the sink was around 3:30ish)

hells ya i'm bragg'n. have you seen me lately. its not pretty.
