the other day i was having a phone conversation with a friend.
i was telling her that sometimes i go into the nursery
at night and sit in the rocking chair and rock.... a onesie.
just to get through these last few weeks.
don't judge me.
anywho.....
ethan apparently heard that and asked me if it was true.
he was mortified.
he obviously couldn't handle the fact that his
mom was losing it. rocking empty baby clothes.
so i said,
"oh i was just kidding, i would never do that, i was just being funny."
just like i would NEVER rock out to miley cyrus without kids
in the car. how embarrassing.
...and a jay z song was on....i put my hands up they're playing my
song, the butterflies fly away, nodding my head like ya, movin'
my hips like ya.....

And did you notice that when you said it to me, I didn't even bat an eye. Sounds like a perfectly normal thing to do!
You do WHATEVER you need to get through these last few weeks- they're brutal. It's not weird. I promise. Not weird at all.
