the other night after i had made dinner
ethan came up to me, put his arm around me and said,
"mom, go sit down, i'll do the dishes."
i about fell over.
its not an everyday or even weekly occurance for him.
he will help with lots of other things but the dishes?
emma does this for me all the time.
if i've had to run somewhere after dinner i'll come home
to a sparkly clean kitchen and a little note telling
me she loves me.
i'm a lucky mom.

You are a lucky mom!!! Your kids are fabulous!! You guys are doing a great job raising them right. I'll take few tips on teaching them kindness and service if you're willing to share =)
